Steiner Waldorf Class Teacher (Elementary / Middle School)

The position:

We are looking to recruit a qualified and experienced Steiner Waldorf Class Teacher to teach one of our bilingual, mixed-age elementary classes, starting in September 2024.

Bilingual Assistant Teacher

The position:

We are looking to recruit bilingual English / Italian assistant teachers to support the lead teachers in our mixed age, bilingual classes. Those with experience and knowledge of Steiner Waldorf and forest school pedagogies are particularly encouraged to apply. Assistant teachers are required to lead some subject lessons in Italian (including but limited to mathematics, Italian grammar, Italian second language, art, crafts, cooking and movement). They will be supported in how to plan, deliver and assess these subjects in line with our methodology by the lead teachers.

After school provision leader

The position:

We are looking to recruit an after-school provision leader to join our team to plan and supervise our after-school provision daily from 15:00 – 17:00.

It is a part-time post but could be combined with other available positions at the school. Candidates should be enthusiastic and committed to supporting our Steiner Waldorf & Forest School foundations, strengthening our growing school and increasing opportunities for outdoor learning and community building.

Relief teachers

The position:

We are looking for local relief / cover teachers to join the Village Forest School teaching community. If you are based in Piemonte and are an experienced and adaptable teacher with an interest in nature-based Waldorf Education, please get in touch by emailing your CV and contact details to opportunities@villageforestschool.com.

Volunteer at VFS
